Plot : The story of the film revolves around Raj and Simran, who are madly in love with each other. However, their world comes crashing down when Simran is kidnapped by some international gangsters. Raj is at a loss as to what has happened to his love. To make matters worse for him, his family does not believe him when he tells them of the kidnapping. He then goes to Punjab to seek help from his family friend Veer Pratap Singh (Varun Dhawan), who advises him that no one will believe him at first, but he has to fight for truth even if he has to face the wrath of society. Raj and Veer Pratap team up to rescue Simran. Meanwhile, they come across a love story between a leading lady and an up and coming hero which comes as a surprise to them since they thought that Simran is the only woman in Raj's heart. They keep following the trail but their efforts prove futile and all their efforts end with no result. This leads them to think that there is something more sinister at play. Since Raj has lost faith in the police, he decides to take the law in his own hands. He kidnaps Shekhar Bhatia (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), who is one of the gangsters involved with the kidnapping. This leads to a series of events where Raj has to fight for both Simran's love and Veer Pratap's life. The movie ends with Raj being arrested by the Mumbai Police at Veer Pratap's insistence although he knows that Raj is innocent yet had no choice but to have him arrested because kidnapping was not an option for him after all the wrong things he has done in his life. The movie has all the ingredients of being a blockbuster. It has drama, action, entertainment, suspense and also romance. It shows that no matter what the caste or religion is, when love comes in between two people then everyone in their families have to accept it. It also shows that in everyone's life there are always good and bad times but only the strong survive in spite of all odds. This film brings out the best in Shahrukh Khan's acting skills.
